Born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1962 Jon exhibited a passion for
drawing from an early age.
He arrived in Australia in 1978 and together
with his wife Julie and
son Christopher travelled extensively throughout the country in pursuit
of his main interests of surfing, observing, recording and
illustrating.
Now based in Adelaide, his meticulous attention to detail
and often humourous depictions of the characters and lifestyles of
Australia have become increasingly popular and collectable. |
